I’ve not published a blogpost for the last four months. This made me ponder why — why do I write blogposts and why didn’t I write any lately?
Born from the wish to show off my photos, keep in touch with friends and vent some frustration, this blog has had it’s ups and downs.
While it is still fun to write, my girlfriend is a much better recipient for my complaints — mainly since she replies to them. The other big plus is my brothers will never find out when I bitch about them.
Sure I could write about someone rebuilding an oily motorcycle on new hardwood floor, leaving dirty underwear in the bathroom for days, or using some highly toxic cleaner for bike parts in the kitchen sink!12
It’s all great fun — for you. I have to face the ire of my brothers the next day and nothing ever changes anyway. They will just be pissed off, but keep their habits, and demand I take the post down immediately.
Sure there are incidents beyond the entertainment my brothers provide, but I’ve been quite busy lately and didn’t have much time to go outside to do fun stuff. Additionally it almost seems like my friends are growing up, so there is less comedy and more tragedy nowedays.3
So I will probably only start writing again in ernest after going back to Japan.

Those are all purely theoretical examples of corse — my bothers would never do such a thing. ↩

Writing dramas might be even more fun, but I’m not sure how my friends would like it to find their problems discussed on the internet. ↩
While reading TIME magazine I stumbled upon an interesting article
